Add eWAY to your PayDock Account

To connect eWAY to PayDock, you will need an account registered with them. To get a Sandbox account with eWAY, complete their Sign Up Process.

From your eWAY account, you will need your:

  • Public Key - this is your eWAY API Key
  • Password - this is your eWAY Password

Step 1: Gather your credentials from eWAY

  1. Log into MYeWAY
  2. Navigate to the “My Account” button on the top of the page
  3. Click on the “API Key” button. Your Gateway Public Key will be displayed on this page in the “API Key” field
  4. To get your Gateway Password, click the “Generate Password” button to have a new password created for you.

Step 2: Connect eWAY to your PayDock Account

  1. Log into your PayDock Production or Sandbox account.
  2. Navigate to "Services" from the menu on the left
  3. Click on the "Add New" tab from the top of the page
  4. Navigate to or search "eWAY" and click on the "Activate" button
    1. Label - this is for your reference only. In PayDock, you are able to add multiple instances of a payment gateway or method. This can be helpful for tracking campaigns or income streams
    2. Public Key - this is your eWAY API Key
    3. Password - this is your eWAY Password
    4. Environment Mode - this describes whether you are connecting to an eWAY Production or Sandbox Environment. Please ensure you're using the correct credentials for the type of environment required.Complete the field descriptions to connect. Field descriptions are as follows:

 Click Connect. Now you have successfully connected eWAY to PayDock.

Helpful Information

When in test mode, use the card number 4444333322221111 for all tests.

If you have Beagle Alert settings turned on in eWAY, you have to "Approve" transactions in eWAY's dashboard.
