Forte + PayDock

Add Forte to your PayDock Account

To connect Forte to PayDock, you will need an account registered with them. To get a Sandbox account with Forte, SignUp here 

Step 1: Gather your credentials from Forte

Note: For the most up to date information, we recommend you refer to Forte's guide on how to gather your Forte credentials. Our notes below are a guide only.

1. Log into Forte.
2. Gather your Access ID, Secure Key, Merchant, Signature
   1. Navigate to the “Developer” button on the left of the page
   2. Click on the “API Credentials” button.
   3. Click "Create" to create your API credentials. 
   4. "Name" your APP. We recommend PayDock so it's clear for you. Click "Create New Api Key"
   5. Your Forte Access ID and Secure Key will be displayed on this page.
   6. Go here. Your Merchant and Signature will be on this page

      

Step 2: Connect Forte to your PayDock Account

1. Log into your PayDock Production or Sandbox account
2. Navigate to "Services" from the menu on the left
3. Click on the "Add New" tab from the top of the page
4. Navigate to or search "Forte" and click on the "Activate" button
   1. Label - this is for your reference only. In PayDock, you are able to add multiple instances of a payment gateway or method. This can be helpful for tracking campaigns or income streams.
   2. Username - this is your Forte Access ID
   3. Merchant ID - this is your Forte Merchant ID
   4. Password - this is your Forte Secure Key
   5. Signature - this is your Forte API Signature
   6. Environment Mode - this describes whether you are connecting to an Forte Production or Sandbox Environment. Please ensure you're using the correct credentials for the type of environment requiredComplete the field descriptions to connect. 

Click "Connect". Now you have successfully connected Forte to PayDock.
